Kaleb Welch is a Photojournalist and event Photographer from Palm Springs, California.  Kaleb's photojournalistic career began covering local news for the Desert Valley Star, which lead to photographing large music shows including Stage Coach, Coachella, and Joshua Tree Fest.

 

Kaleb also photographs Oakland's rapidly changing and expanding culture. Culturally known as a place of violence, Kaleb uses his camera to capture the cities true spirit of diversity, its rich history, and the tight knit community that lives there.

 

Since his transition to Oakland he's worked with TIME magazine, had his event work credited on sites such as WIRED and Model View Culture. Along with these major media companies Kaleb is also involved with three startups, Transhack.org, BlackStarMedia.org, and Questmobile.com. 

 

And when he's not using his camera, he writes his bios in third person!
